Overview

Bluettia Homes is a hotel accommodations app concept based on the hit game Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch. For this project, I was tasked to include features such as horizontal and vertical scrolling as well as overlays. ​​​​​​​

Problem

​​​​After exploring this video game and designing houses for villagers, I found that there was an unmet need in the market of rentals in vacations homes with space for more company.

People want to book rooms with unique villagers to create memorable experiences.

Reflection

I am so grateful to have the opportunity to express my creativity on an assignment like this one. Being able to combine my love for the video game Animal Crossing and my UI/UX design skills I learned in my UX Design class in this hotel accommodations app made this an incredibly fun project.
